One of the newest movies that has come out is The Greatest Showman. It is about a man who went from nothing and was able to use his mind and imagination to create a circus. He finds people who are considered freaks for their odd talents, but he uses their skills to put on a live show. Many people have seen the movie and overall about 89% of the people that saw the movie liked it.

One person who saw the movie was 8th grader Camila Ruiz. She told me that the movie was great. She told me, “The best part was probably when Zac Efron’s character was dying in the hospital and Zendaya’s character sang to him and when he woke up they kissed.” She also stated, “ My favorite character was P.T. Barnum played by Hugh Jackman because he came from nothing and became very successful in a great way including all the outcasts from the town.”

Another 8th grader who saw it was Eve Lauffenburger. I asked her if she would recommend this movie to other people and why, she told me, “Yes, because it shows the history of the circus.” I also asked her who her favorite character was and why, she said, “Anne Wheeler played by Zendaya because she is a good acrobat.”

This movie has become very popular which explains why it is considered one of the most entertaining movies of the year. I asked Camila what rating she would give the movie out of 10 and she responded with, “I would give it 11/10.” This shows that it is definitely worth seeing. The Greatest Showman is still a more recent movie and it is highly recommended, so I think if you haven’t seen it you should go to the movie theater and see it soon!
