A trending thing for fashionable teens is thrifting. Have you hopped on this bandwagon yet? Everyone is going crazy for the insane deals they are finding. You can find items that would be a fortune other places, but get them for less than ten dollars just because it’s been worn. While it may appear to be too good to be true, many can find deals on name brands such as Levi’s, Lucky Brand Jeans, and more. Are the youtubers just getting lucky, or is this something everyday kids can do. We put this to the test by buying outfits at both thrift stores and urban outfitters and comparing quality and price.

Bdg shorts

$50 from urban outfitters

$17 from thrift store

(711 skinny jeans)

$60 from Levi’s

$14 from thrift shop

Helen top brandy Melville

$20 from brandy

$5 from thrift store

We were able to easily find many popular brands for less than half the price. Thrifting is definitely not an overrated trend that is unreasonable. It is a great way to find great deals on otherwise expensive products. We strongly suggest everyone goes thrifting at least once, you never know what you’ll find!
