Hello, and welcome aboard! You might have been planning a trip over the summer, but have you been on an airplane during Covid? Airports have been taking many precautions when flying us on their planes, and the rules vary between the different airlines. Although different airlines have different procedures, most things are similar.  Airlines such as Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiin Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, and United airlines all clean their airplanes, terminals, lounges and more frequently. These airlines have also made an effort to increase the availability for hand wipes, disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer around ticket counters, lounges, gates and more. Another safety rule to keep passengers safe and feel comfortable is that everyone must wear a face mask, no acceptions. Many airlines use an extra detailed and thorough cleaning on frequently touched areas on the plane such as, arm rests, seat belts, tray tables, overhead controls, light buttons and door handles. There is also a reduction in food and drink services in most flights. As an addition, Airlines are working to maintain distance between passengers. Now that you know all the safety measures Airlines are ensuring, you can have a safe worry free trip. Thank you for choosing Airplane safety during Covid, enjoy your flight.
