Prince Harry announced a lawsuit against the British tabloids, an international British news company, who have been reporting negative news coverage about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle in particular.

According to, “Harry said the lawsuit had, ‘been many years in the making,’ during which a ‘press pack that has vilified her almost daily’ and created ‘lie after lie at her expense’ during her maternity leave.”

Recently, the Mail on Sunday published a hand-written letter that Meghan had sent to her father, which was edited in a misleading way, without the Sussexes’ permission.

Harry does not want history to repeat itself, referencing his mother’s, Princess Diana’s, death because of the overwhelming press from tabloids. The couple has been trying to keep their lives as private as possible, but the tabloids’ rumors are making this hard. Harry is furious about this case and is planning to follow through with the lawsuit.
